Mariel White will graduate from the University of Florida in December 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and a minor in Mass Communications. She is passionate about sports and telling athletes’ stories, and is pursuing a career in sports communications. Some of Mariel’s relevant work experience include working with the University of Florida Athletic Association in the communications department, completing many tasks including writing press releases, interviewing athletes, and updating statistics. She has also worked with ESPN Gainesville, attending local high school sporting events and writing game previews, recaps, and feature stories. Mariel has strong communication, organization, and planning skills, as well as a drive to succeed in any role.
